Over 100 potential investors have been contacted, but no one has been interested, writes Norwegian media Finansavisen of Seadrill's unsuccessful attempts to find a potential buyer for the company, which has struggled to land a restructuring, and which recently activated Chapter 11 US bankruptcy protection.
According to Finansavisen, a statement to the court shows that Seadrill has been in contact with 94 potential investors. Of these, 13 are drilling companies and five are oil service companies.
