Global demand for oil will peak by 2030 at the latest, as more electric cars hit the roads, according to British analyst agency Wood Mackenzie in a new report, which sizes up the political development, where countries including the UK, France, and China have joined the battle against climate change, reports The Guardian.
Every day, 96 million barrels of oil are consumed around the world. 60 million of these barrels go to transportation, while the number is expected to be significantly reduced in just 13 years.
