Odfjell and Statoil sell robot systems company for USD millions

Nabors Industries is buying all the shares in Robotic Drilling Systems, which has previously included Odfjell Drilling and Statoil Technology Invest as co-owners. The deal could bring Odfjell Drilling a two-figure million dollar amount.

Odfjell Drilling and Statoil – in the form of Statoil Technology Invest – are selling their ownership shares in Robotic Drilling systems to US company Nabors Industries.

In a press release from Robotic Drilling Systems it emerged that the major shareholders – which also include Investinor and Westcon – are selling 100 percent of the shares to Nabors.
