Danish gas company sees billions of kroner in LNG

The Saudi-owned, Danish-based company anticipates a rapid breakthrough on the LNG market, backed up by new IEA figures.

Concerns related to Russia and climate change will drive the LNG market forward in the coming years, says Kosan Crisplant. According to Danish business daily Børsen, the company eyes LNG as a booming and lucrative industry for the company within a few years.

"When the LNG market really takes off, our plan is to install a special subsidiary for the area. And I predict that over the next five-seven years we can achieve revenue in the billions [DKK, - ed.] This will make the LNG division as large as our normal gas division, LPG," says CEO Anders C. Anderson to the newspaper.
