Iran reviewing Maersk Oil field development bid

Maersk Oil has, according to the Financial Tribune, submitted a plan for how to develop the oil reserves in Iranian field South Pars. The National Iranian Oil Company is now reviewing the plans, reports the usually well-informed media.

Maersk Oil has allegedly submitted a plan for how to continue development of Iranian oil field South Pars.

Earlier this year the Danish oil company saw France's Total win the rights to develop the next stage of the gas reserves in South Pars. But the Iranian field also contains oil reserves, which Maersk Oil has now made a bid for, according to a local media.
