Statoil signs long-term contracts for offshore ships

The Norwegian oil major has taken on a series of offshore vessels on contracts totaling USD hundreds of billions, including ships from Norway's new, large-scale offshore carrier Solstad Farstad and from Havila.

Statoil has signed contracts for offshore vessels with a series of Norway's top offshore carriers.

Specifically, the oil major has awarded long-term contracts to seven offshore vessels from carriers Solstad Farstad, DOF, Havila Shipping, and Skansi Offshore, informs Statoil in a press release Wednesday.
