Media: Maersk lands North Sea deal with Danish government

According to Danish media Berlingske Business, Denmark's government and Maersk have landed a new deal concerning the North Sea which can secure the rescue of the Tyra field. The Danish Ministry of Finance rejects the rumor.

Maersk Group and Denmark's government have reached agreement for a deal entailing investments worth DKK 30 billion (EUR 4 billion), writes Danish media Berlingske Business after speaking with anonymous sources. However, the deal has not been made public yet and still needs approval from other political parties in the Danish parliament. According to Berlingske, the agreement will be announced within a few days.

The Danish Ministry of Finance has released a statement, after Berlingske reported that a deal was made, in which the ministry rejects that a final agreement has been settled. The Danish Ministry of Finance writes on Twitter that:
