At the moment, there are no negotiations underway between Maersk and Dong Energy. The protracted dialogue about Maersk Oil's purchase of Dong's oil and gas business has previously come to a standstill due to differences in the price valuation, also because of Dong's failed Hejre platform, but now uncertainty surrounding the Tyra platform is impeding the process, writes Danish media Berlingske.
"The discussions have stopped. It was a close dialogue and perhaps the negotiations will be resumed. But right now, they're on standby as long as there is uncertainty about the Tyra field," an unnamed source tells the Danish newspaper.
