Danish power plant developer lands large order

BWSC will expand a Heavy Fuel Oil-fired power plant in the Faroe Islands to 2.5 times the plant's current size.

While power plant specialist Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) develops bio-mass faciltiies, the company still builds fossil-fueled power plants.

The latest example is an order landed by the Danish-British company to build a power plant in the Faroe Islands with capacity of 37 MW, which will run on Heavy Fuel Oil, informs BWSC in a statement, also stating that the contract is valued at DKK 200 million (EUR 27 million).
