Helicopter company has faith in North Sea deal

Danish helicopter company Bel Air hopes that politicians will come up with a solution for the Tyra field, although Maersk's deadline for improved conditions has already passed.

There is still optimism at helicopter company Bel Air. The beginning of 2017 had marked the deadline imposed by Maersk on Danish politicians to come up with a way to improve North Sea conditions, if the Danish conglomerate was to continue investing in the Tyra field, which is presumed to still be sinking. However the helicopter industry maintains hope that a solution can be found.

"I hope they make a deal that everyone can live with, because it's important for Denmark and for securing jobs at our customers and at all subcontractors, that the project continues," says Susanne Hessullun, CEO of helicopter company Bel Air, speaking to Danish newspaper Børsen.
