Chevron wins oil tender from Nordsøfonden

US oil behemoth Chevron will take over responsibility for oil sales from the stake of DUC owned by Danish state-owned oil and gas company Nordsøfonden.

US oil giant Chevron has won the rights to sell the oil, which Danish state-owned oil and gas company Nordsøfonden will get from its 20 percent stake in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), writes the company in a press release, where it states that the deal takes effect on Jan. 1 2017.

The job consists of Chevron selling on the oil for Nordsøfonden when this oil arrives at the Danish port in Fredericia via pipelines, as well as making sure that there are tankers to receive the oil, etc.
