Newspaper: Statoil executive charged with corruption

A case involving corruption charges against an executive and a subcontractor has arisen in Statoil's Canada activities.

According to Norwegian media, an employee of Statoil has been charged with corruption together with an executive from a supplier company.

According to Norwegian newspaper Aftenbladet, the Statoil employee has served as an "important executive" for several years.
