Final farewell to Maersk Energy is now underway

Maersk Group will scale down investments in its energy units ahead of ultimately selling the businesses, says Søren Skou at the group's Capital Markets Day this Tuesday.

The downscaling and ultimate sale of Maersk Group's energy activities will happen gradually over the coming years by limiting investments in the energy business and, in time, replacing this with growth in the container unit, explains CEO Søren Skou at the group's Capital Markets Day in Copenhagen this Tuesday.

At the event, Maersk Group invited investors and analysts to hear where the conglomerate's business is headed, and how it plans to overcome the challenges of the future.
