Small oil companies bypass Denmark

The Danish North Sea shelf is dominated by medium-sized oil companies such as Maersk Oil and Dong Energy O&G and this will intensify if the state does not change the framework conditions, say several small oil companies.

Small oil companies are largely bypassing Denmark, writes Danish newspaper Børsen Thursday.

While the UK and Norwegian North Sea sectors have experienced in recent years that more small companies are on the oil hunt, the framework conditions are not favorable enough in Denmark, say several companies to the newspaper.
