Platts: West of Shetland could spark interest in buyers of Dong O&G

INTERVIEW: Dong's investments in the West of Shetland area in the UK could turn out to be a compelling part of the sales pitch for DONG Oil & Gas. However the buyers are not exactly lining up, says analyst agency Platts.

The future of the oil sector in the North Sea looks a little less bleak after last week's OPEC deal. However, the North Sea remains one of the least attractive oil investments in the world and buyers are not exactly lining up for new licenses, nor to snap up oil companies such as Denmark's Dong Oil & Gas (O&G).
