Maersk Suppy Service's revenue takes a dive

Maersk Supply Service, which together with Maersk Tankers will be separated from Maersk, lost USD 11 million in the third quarter. A battle for survival between carriers has been unleashed onto the market, says the company.

Revenue is trickling away at Maersk Group's struggling offshore carrier Maersk Supply Service, which came out of the third quarter with a deficit of USD 11 million (EUR 9.89).

325 offshore employees left the company in September, while 43 onshore jobs were slashed in October.
