Trafigura calls it "entirely irresponsible" if IMO does not proceed with CO2 tax

A lot has happened over the past year and a half in terms of the number of green initiatives meant to decarbonize global shipping, as indicated by Trafigura's Head of Feel Decarbonization Rasmus Bach Nielsen.

The Danish national, who was made head of the major trading firm's CO2 reduction ambitions for shipping, thinks it wouldn't be wrong to compare the difference to "night and day", as the efforts to heavily reduce the shipping industry's emissions of greenhouse gases have accelerated markedly.
