Swedish shipping major Stena moves forward with liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a new collaboration between subsidiary Stena Power & LNG Solutions and Global Energy Storage (GES) to explore possibilities within logistics and storage of the fuel.

LNG, a fossil fuel that emits less CO2 than conventional marine fuel, is viewed as a necessary transitional fuel by many, while it is criticized by others.
