Solstad sells seven ships for scrapping and recycling at Norwegian shipyard

Solstad Offshore has sold seven older vessels for environmentally safe scrapping in Norway as part of the company's rescue plan, which involves a divestment of 37 ships.

Norwegian offshore operator Solstad Offshore has sold seven of the company's vessels to be scrapped at Norwegian shipyards Green Yard Feda and Green Yard Kleven.

In a press release, Solstad categorizes the seven vessels as "non-strategic" and "irrelevant for present and future markets".
