Earnings soar for Saudi Aramco

The oil price recovery has seen the giant's profit grow by 288 percent.

Saudi Aramco books a profit of USD 25.5bn for the second quarter of 2021, shows the company's interim report published Sunday evening.

That corresponds to a surge by 288 percent compared to the same period of 2020. The oil firm itself explains this advancement by referring to oil prices returning to a more normal level.
