Prysmian secures Brazilian order

The Italian cable maker is to supply umbilical cables to Brazilian state-owned oil firm Petrobras.

Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras has selected Italian cable manufacturer Prysmian to provide cables for upcoming projects in Brazil, the latter writes in a statement.

Prysmian informs that the company has received an order for 350 kilometers of steel-tube and thermoplastic electro-hydraulic umbilical cables for both greenfield and brownfield projects to be developed by Petrobras in Brazil.
