Transocean secures work for two rigs in Norway

US drilling company Transocean has entered contracts for two rigs in Norway. The work commences in the first quarter next year and has an estimated value of USD 116m.

New York-listed drilling company Transocean has found new work for two rigs, which will be drilling in Norwegian waters.

First, the rig Transocean Barents has landed a contract for two wells, set to commence in February 2022. The contract has a value of USD 60m for about 200 days of work, the company writes in a stock exchange announcement.
