Aker Solutions signs deal with Petrobras worth up to EUR 200m

The Norwegian offshore service operator has signed a big contract worth NOK 1.2-2bn with the Brazilian oil company.

Norwegian offshore service supplier Aker Solutions, which has worked with Brazil's oil and gas industry for 40 years under a string of prior names, has entered a new agreement with state-owned fossil fuel company Petrobras.

The framework deal, with a term of three years with an option for a two-year extension, is valued at NOK 1.2-2bn (EUR 120-200m) and is thus fittingly described by Aker Solutions as "large".
