By now it seems almost inevitable that much-disputed gas project Nord Stream 2 will end up going operational.
According to Russian news agency Tass, the pipeline, set to run from Russia to Germany, will begin testing next week, as told by Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexandr Drozdenko. The governor says that the pipeline will be tested in the Leningrad region, where it begins.
