Two new contracts are now awarded for Northern Lights, a large Norwegian carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project, confirms consortium partner Equinor.

Subsea 7 has won an EPCI contract for pipe-laying and seabed installations worth an estimated NOK 500 million (EUR 46.5 million), entailing 100 kilometers of pipe to transmit CO₂ from shore out to an injection well under the North Sea.
