Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi has hired Torger Rød, who has worked for Equinor for 22 years. Norway's largest oil outfit thereby loses its fourth executive in a matter of months.

A smaller executive rotation among Norway's oil companies now seems complete.

Vår Energi has hired Torger Rød as its new chief executive following predecessor Kristin F. Kragseth's appointment as CEO of the state-owned oil group Petoro, Vår Energi confirms in a statement Tuesday.
