Norwegian oil company Edison Norway is claiming NOK 130 million (EUR 12.51 million) from Danske Bank in a lawsuit, with the former alleging that the bank should have stopped deceitful transactions, reports Norwegian business daily Dagens Næringsliv.
The media writes that the lawsuit pertains to an incident in 2019, when the oil company was defrauded by two Italian nationals who at the time purported to be an Italian company's chief executive and its attorney.
