Sembcorp Marine struggles with new Covid problems

The operator working on reestablishing the Danish North Sea's Tyra platform is afflicted with a new case of infection at one of its shipyards in Singapore.

A 46-year-old employee working at Sembcorp Marine's Admiralty yard in Singapore has tested positive for Covid-19, reports sector media Upstream Online.

Sembcorp is thereby once again plagued by the pandemic, which has already forced the company to cut dramatically down on its staffing in Singapore on multiple occasions, also resulting in yard closures lasting several months.
