Equinor report: Energy transition is progressing too slowly

Achieving global climate objectives will require a more balanced economic development, Equinor finds.


Efforts need to accelerate for the world to reach its climate targets, Equinor concludes in its new 10th Energy Perspectives report.

"The energy transition is progressing too slowly, and effective actions are required urgently to reach the climate goals. To reach the climate goals, we must establish a new balance in the priorities between economic growth, increased welfare and climate actions," writes Eirik Wærness, senior vice president and chief economist at Equinor.
