The shipping sector will have to accelerate the efforts to find and test the fuels of the future if we want to realize the climate targets in 2050 and then achieve carbon neutrality. On the short term, shipping should bet on gas-powered ships," says Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen, CEO of global consultant and classification firm DNV GL Maritime in an interview with ShippingWatch.
