Secret recordings reveal deceitful US oil lobby

Players in the US fossil energy sector provided misinformation last year in saying they had a handle on methane emissions from, for instance, flaring, reports The New York Times.

Flaring is the intensional burning of surplus natural gas – often used for safety reasons on, for instance, oil and gas platforms.
