Shell paid more than USD 240 million in taxes to Danish state

Oil giant Shell paid USD 240.6 million in Danish taxes last year, even though Noreco took over the company's upstream business at the end of July. In Norway, Shell paid four times the amount, while the company avoided tax expenses entirely in the UK.
