
Equinor agrees to pay an extralegal settlement, ending a dispute that began when the Norwegian oil giant canceled a contract with China Oilfield Services in connection with rigs COSL Innovator and COSL Promoter.
The parties agree that Equinor will pay USD 188 million via the Troll license, operated by the Norwegian company, both Equinor and COSL confirm Wednesday.
