Aker BP strikes high-grade North Sea oil

Oil company Aker BP has successfully located oil from its license number 442's ninth prospect drilling in the North Sea. The company has found oil of an extremely high-grade, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate informs.

Norwegian oil company Aker BP, which has already found this year's largest oil discovery on the Norwegian continental shelf, has just struck another deposit in the North Sea.

This occurred in connection with the company's drillings at wildcat well 25/2-21 (Liatårnet), located near the North Sea Alvheim field, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate informs Tuesday.
