Norwegian oil sector highly optimistic about the future

Companies with large exposure to the oil sector are more optimistic than the average. 73 percent expect increased activity and earnings next year.

The Norwegian oil sector is highly optimistic about the future after several dire years for the industry.

From 2014 to 2017, the low oil price meant that oil companies launched cost reduction plans, and this had a ripple effect throughout the supply chain.
