Nasdaq Copenhagen has suspended trading of Faroese oil company Atlantic Petroleum's equity, informs Nasdaq Nordic, which operates the Danish exchange, in a statement late Wednesday morning. The group explains the suspension citing "substantial doubt as the whether the company complies with share emission regulations".
The oil company's equity had already been put on observation status, because of "substantial, damaging uncertainty about the company's financial situation," according to Nasdaq.
