Maersk Drilling debuts on the Nasdaq Copenhagen Thursday with a share price of USD 86.5 after brief period trading. This makes the drilling company's market value roughly USD 3.5 billion.

Thursday is the first day that Maersk Drilling trades publicly following the company's spin-off from A.P. Møller-Mærsk. The B share dropped by 10.1 percent to USD 1201.8 after the spin-off.
