Oil price hits highest level in four months

A large decline in US oil stockpiles last week has pushed the oil price up to the highest level since November last year.

The oil price saw another boost Wednesday. Due to US oil stocks, oil hit the highest level in four months – incidentally, just like the stock market.

Wednesday, the price of a barrel of crude measured in WTI futures increased by 2.4 percent to USD 58.26. The last time the price was higher was back in November 13, 2018.
