IEA fears major price hikes for oil

There is too much imbalance between the prospects of future oil demand and the number of investments made to maintain production ahead of 2025, says the IEA, which fears that this could result in large oil price hikes.

Things are looking bleak for the future energy markets and energy emissions in a new analysis just published by the International Energy Agency, reports Dagens Næringsliv.

The report, The World Energy Outlook 2018, outlines the various future scenarios for the energy markets, including potential developments in oil resources and the impact on oil prices.
