Kvaerner is optimistic despite significant decline in earnings

The Norwegian yard group and oil services company emerged from the third quarter with a significant decline in the operating result. However, the order intake has doubled and companies are optimistic about the future.

Norwegian company Kvaerner met forecasts on the top and bottom line in its third quarterly report.

Kvaerner's Field Development segment, which shows the company's total activities and includes a collaboration company, announced a significant decline in EBITDA, which fell from NOK 262 million (USD 31.63 million) in the third quarter last year to NOK 90 million this year.
