Rambøll Energy: Pressure from oil companies not reduced by rising prices

Despite Brent passing USD 80 per barrel for the first time in several years, the demands placed on suppliers by oil companies have not changed, says Rambøll Energy Managing Director John Sørensen, who talking about the areas in which the division will invest.

Although oil prices are rising, and 2014's price collapse slowly fades into the distance, the pressure oil companies exert on suppliers such as Danish engineering consultancy firm Rambøll has not abated, Rambøll Energy Managing Director John Sørensen tells EnergyWatch's sister media, ShippingWatch.

"I cannot sense that the pressure has changed. Oil companies are highly focused on their costs, so we as a sector will not return to the point at which we began," says Sørensen to ShippingWatch.
