Tariff war now set to hurt American LNG export

The US's ambitions of becoming one of the world's largest LNG exporters are now being impacted by Chinese tariffs on the liquefied natural gas.

The trade war between China and the US is now directly jeopardizing US ambitions of becoming one the world's largest liquefied natural gas, LNG, exporters.

As a part of its retaliation against the US' most recent broadside in the trade war, China has placed a 10 percent levy on imports of US liquefied natural gas, reports Reuters.
