The Norwegian oil industry will be busy this year, meaning that between 24,000 and 28,000 workers will be hired to the oil industry, according to a new report from research institute IRIS.
"The report from IRIS shows that there will be a strong need for new hires in the oil and gas industry going forward. This is good news for those who have opted for a professionally relevant or technical education," says CEO of industry organization Norsk Olje og Gass (Norwegian Oil and Gas) Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen, to Norwegian newspaper Dagens Nyheder.
