US oil giant in the red after a disappointing bottom line

Exxon Mobile's second quarter production was recorded at 3.647 million barrels of oil equivalent against analysts' expectations for 3.83 million.

US oil company Exxon Mobil was far off mark of market expectations for Q2 and presented a underwhelming bottom line profit.

Investors are now punishing the company by sending the share price down by 3.3 percent in early market trading.
