Record-low US crude stockpiles raise oil prices

The price of oil is rising after new numbers show US crude stockpiles are at the lowest level in over three years.

Oil prices are rising after new numbers show that the US oil stockpiles have declined to the lowest level in more than three years. The prices of gold and copper are also rising.

The new numbers, published one day later than usual because of the US Independence Day, show that oil inventory is at its lowest in three years.
