Texts between Altor partner and OW Bunker CEO take center stage in trial

In the criminal trial against former OW Bunker top exec Lars Møller, the defense is working to create the impression of a greedy equity fund that was looking to profit by putting a lid on the company's risky businesses.

A series of texts sent between OW Bunker CEO Jim Pedersen and Søren Johansen, partner at equity fund Altor, took center stage Thursday in the criminal trial against Lars Møller.

Møller's defense lawyers Anders Németh and Arvid Andersen, are trying to prove that OW Bunker's management was drawing an outward image of the company as conservative, while it was going full throttle behind the scenes in terms of risks .
