BP will develop two new fields in the North Sea

The oil major has committed to two new North Sea developments, which are expected to produce 30,000 barrels of oil per day.

BP plans to develop two satellite fields in the North Sea.

These are the Alligin and Vorlich fields, which are both located near existing infrastructure. For this reason, BP expects to be able to launch production during 2020.
