Seadrill gets full support from creditors for rescue plan

John Fredriksen's rig company Seadrill, currently under Chapter 11, has obtained full support from its creditors for the rescue plan the company has been working on for months, informs Seadrill in a stock exchange update Monday morning CET.

Creditors of crisis-stricken Seadrill fully support the rescue plan presented by the company, which creditors had to approve in a new vote.

"The near unanimous support from the voting ballots reflects the overwhelming support for the company's plan and reorganization efforts," writes Seadrill in a stock exchange update Monday morning CET.
