US citizen Gretchen Watkins was out of a job when Maersk sold Maersk Oil to French energy major Total. Now, she has once again landed an executive position in the oil industry. Her next stop is Shell.
Watkins will serve as Shell Oil Company president and US country chair, which is considered one of the heavyweight positions in the global oil industry. She will also serve as executive vice president (EVP) of Unconventionals, Shell states in a press release.
