Important oil base back under Norwegian ownership

Former J. Lauritzen partner HitecVision has offered a large sum of money in order to get the important Norwegian oil base at Mongstad back under Norwegian ownership again.

Swedish investment fund EQT has sold the important oil base at Mongstad to fund HitechVision for almost NOK 4 billion (USD 500 million), reports Dagens Næringsliv. The newspaper was informed about the price by operators in the market.

Mongstad is Norway's most important oil supply port, and reportedly EQT has had the port in its portfolio for two and a half years.
